A school security guard found a bag left behind in 1957. Relatives of the owner allowed to show the contents

This story began last spring and finally came to its logical conclusion. On May 30, a post appeared on the Facebook page of a school in North Canton (USA) that a security guard named Chas Pyle found a bag behind the lockers, which was apparently lost. And not the other day, not even in this century. Her owner’s name was Patty Rumphola, and the bag was left there in 1957, can you imagine? All of its contents have been preserved.

Last spring, an American school security guard found a mysterious bag.

How was it not noticed before? As you can see, the distance between the wall and the cabinets has been sealed.

The same guard, bag, and removed metal panel.

People started looking for the owner of the bag. According to Fox 8, Patty Rumphola was a student at Hoover High School and graduated in 1961. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to send her greetings from the past, Patty died in 2013, she was 71 years old. She married after high school, had five children, and retired as a school teacher. She was also associated with the local theatre.

The owner of the bag was called Patty Rumphola, and the thing was left in 1957.

On February 14, an entry was published stating that in the fall they managed to contact Patty’s relatives. And after their permission, the school showed what was stored in this bag.

Bag content:

School supplies, hairbrush, cosmetics.

Powder.

Lipstick.

Gum.

Photos.

Tickets.

Various membership cards.

Gifted photo.

Purse.

Each of Patty’s five children took a coin to remember their mother.

Here is what was kept in the purse that had been hidden behind the locker for so long. Did Patty know that she left a real-time capsule for posterity? She waited more than 60 years to pass on a piece of the 50s to the modern generation.
