Ketty Davis has always been a diligent student, her parents were proud of her, and her friends respected her.
Today we will tell you about how she dramatically changed her life by choosing the path of motherhood for children from Uganda who were left without parents.
Let’s go in order. After school, Ketty had the opportunity to study at a prestigious university, but she chose a different path for herself – having gone to a distant African state.
There she was engaged in charity work: she helped the poor, taught children, nursed the sick. A year later, her mission ended, but she did not return home but remained in Uganda.
Later, Ketty creates “Amazima” – a special movement that helps people in trouble and educates local children.
Missionaries who come to Uganda can adopt orphans. Ketty decided to exercise this right, despite her young age. But having adopted one girl, she could not leave the others, so now she has 13 daughters. The girl says that it is not she who helps the children, but they help her because it is thanks to them that she is now in complete harmony with herself – she has learned to truly love and compassion.
“We all know magical stories about how a man or woman sees an unfortunate baby in a photo and understand that fate sent him to them. I experienced it too. The feeling is so deep and strong that it seems more important than ordinary love! Davis says.
Soon, Ketty met Benjamin Majors, who arrived in this country with the same charitable mission – to help people. A relationship began between the young people and they got married. The girl believes that this meeting was not an accident, and their love is blessed by heaven.

A year later, the young parents had a child. “God wants our family to grow a little more. We have been blessed with a small miracle that will appear with us in May!” The Majors had a son. The boy was named Noah.
“Benji is another proof that God cares about me and my girls. I become incredibly happy when I hear that one of the children calls him dad, ”Ketty writes.
The girl wrote a book about her adventures and life in Uganda. Her story has been widely circulated around the world. The New York Times named her story a bestseller.
Today, the young family lives near Lake Victoria in the small village of Jinja. Family incomes are not great, but this is not the main thing in their life! They are surrounded by love, care for loved ones, and peace of mind and happiness.
