Choupette is not your average cat because she is Karl Lagerfeld’s “baby.” Choupette, a Birman cat, had a stellar pedigree that dictated her pay. Despite the fact that she modeled for Lagerfeld’s brands, she was never paid for them because they were her “own.”
Her work includes modeling for two high-end brands: German automaker Opel and Japanese cosmetics company Shu Uemura. According to Lagerfeld, Choupette would never pose for a low-cost brand. And, with a salary of $3 million in 2014, she wouldn’t have to!

Choupette enjoys the rich and famous life, feasting on meals cooked by her personal chef and served on silver dishes custom-made for her by French luxury goods maker Goyard.
Choupette only travels in a $2450 Louis Vuitton pet case.
Personal servants look after her needs and bring her custom-made Louis Vuitton trunks on multiple trips to Paris, New York, Monte Carlo, and other destinations across the world.
