Ciara Gan, a Filipina, came up with her own prom gown and then brought it to reality with the support of her mother. The outfit took almost 12 meters of fabric, and it was decorated with rhinestones and flowers that Ciara painted herself. The girl didn’t choose basic roses, but tiger lilies, which, according to the girl, perfectly reflect her character. Ciara and her mother worked for a month to create a fantastic outfit that transformed her into a true princess!

Ciara explained that she was motivated by her mother:
I like trying new things, so why not? This is the final event of my academic career, and I had a month to prepare for graduation. So I had ample time to concentrate on designing my dress rather than worrying about school.
It took the girl a whole month to turn the idea into a ready-made outfit.
Ciara sewed dresses in her free time – sometimes her mother helped her.
Ciara’s dream dress took almost 12 meters of fabric.
But the girl was not limited to sewing alone – she also decided to paint the outfit.
Since Ciara did not have a mannequin, she had to improvise and fix the dress on an easel.
The girl started with white color – so that the flowers can be better seen on bright fabric.
For the drawing, Ciara chose flowers that reflect her character – tiger lilies.
I moved away from the standard roses and sophisticated floral patterns – despite their beauty, they do not reflect my character. I like the brightness of colors like orange and green – they best describe me.
Ciara spent 5 days on drawings – she had to redraw some flowers.
As a final touch, the girl glued rhinestones to the dress.
The time and effort spent was worth the end result!
Ciara looked like a real princess at her graduation.
And she could definitely be sure that no one else would come in the same dress.
