Gypsy Rose Blanchard Announces Split from Husband After Prison Release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 32, and her husband Ryan Scott Anderson have split up. She shared the news on Facebook three months after being released from prison. Gypsy served over eight years for planning to kill her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, with her then-boyfriend Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn.

In a social media post, Gypsy said she and her husband are separating and she’s now staying with her parents. She’s grateful for her family and friends’ support during this tough time. Gypsy needs space to figure out who she is.

Gypsy and Ryan got married in jail in July 2022. Before her release in December 2023, Gypsy talked about redoing their wedding with family and friends. She was excited about starting a life with Ryan.

Gypsy’s mother, Dee Dee, was found dead in June 2015, and Gypsy was accused of her murder along with Nick. It was revealed that Dee Dee made Gypsy go through unnecessary medical treatments and convinced everyone she was sick. Gypsy pleaded guilty and got a 10-year sentence. Nick got life in prison.

Recently, Gypsy apologized on TikTok before deleting her social media. She said sorry for not taking responsibility earlier after leaving prison. She took down her accounts to avoid getting in trouble with her parole officer.
