During her acceptance speech, Eilish mentioned having a nightmare before the event. She thanked the Academy, the director of the Barbie movie Greta Gerwig, and a teacher from her childhood named Ms. Brigham who had believed in her.

After the Oscars, Eilish received a gift at the Vanity Fair afterparty: a custom-made Barbie-themed clock necklace from Flavor Flav. Flavor Flav also had a matching clock. A TikTok video showed Eilish and others excitedly dancing and posing with their clocks.
