Nuns adopt unwanted 9-year-old Pitbull from shelter

Nobody wanted this dog, but then this happened…

The nuns from Our Lady of Christian Doctrine made the decision to visit their neighborhood shelter and bring home a puppy they knew wouldn’t have a chance of being adopted when they lost their canine.

They then encountered Remy, a 9-year-old Pit Bull. She had spent months in the Hi Tor Animal Care Center, and her chances of being adopted were far from promising.

Sister Verónica Mediz reportedly admitted to wanting a puppy that nobody else wanted to news media outlets. Virginia, we want this one because no one else is going to want her, I remarked as I was about to bring home a puppy that may have been put to death if we hadn’t taken her.

Remy’s caring disposition immediately made their home happier once they brought her in. “She’s a senior and we’re seniors,” Sister Virginia Johnson said of Remy. “She’s a gentle dog, and friendly.”
