Chopra and her husband, Nick Jonas, celebrated their daughter’s birthday with a delicious surprise.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ birthday festivities were temporarily overshadowed by a significant milestone for her daughter.
Chopra Jonas posted images from her recent 40th birthday beach holiday with family and friends on Friday. Among the entertaining images was one of Chopra Jonas holding her daughter, Malti Marie.
The newborn is dressed in a “six months” onesie with a pink tutu, a headband, and a pair of pink spectacles covered by an emoji Chopra Jonas added to protect her daughter’s privacy.

“It’s just a lady and her birthday squad!” wrote the Unfinished author. “So fortunate to be surrounded by so much love and to be able to spend time with my closest friends and family. (Despite the fact that many of them flew here from afar.)”

Jonas talked to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month about his first kid and how happy he is that she is finally here.
“It’s definitely life-changing,” Jonas remarked of fatherhood. “[Malti] is incredible. It makes me very happy.”
Malti was born through a surrogate on January 15 and spent the first 100 days in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU), but she was allowed to join her parents in their family home in May following her NICU stint.
Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas spoke to PEOPLE last month about fatherhood now that they “all have kids and live in separate areas.” Joe and his wife Sophie Turner have a daughter, Willa, in addition to Nick’s newborn daughter. The couple just had their second kid, the name of whom has yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Kevin and his wife Danielle Jonas have two kids, Alena Rose, 8, and Valentina Angelina, 5. While rehearsing for their first Las Vegas residency concert at the Park MGM, the Jonas Brothers told PEOPLE that they’ve made it a point to spend time together as a family.
“At this point in our lives and careers, we all work very hard to spend more time at home, but we also prioritize time with just the three of us because we want to have a solid link,” Joe noted.
“We’re in a better place today than we’ve ever been,” Nick said, “and it’s a very great season of figuring out what the next chapter is going to look like.”
