Courtney Hadwin, a famous contestant from America’s Got Talent, recently returned to the show and impressed the judges again.
You might remember Courtney from previous seasons of AGT. Her audition went viral, and Judge Howie Mandel gave her the third Golden Buzzer of the 13th season.
When Courtney came on stage for her audition, she admitted feeling nervous to judge Mel B. But Mel B gave her some helpful advice to calm her nerves.
Courtney said she loved music in school. She didn’t have a favorite piece of music, but she clearly enjoys classics.
During her audition, Courtney performed Otis Reading’s “Hard to Handle” and wowed the judges with her talent. Howie Mandel even compared her to Janis Joplin.
Before pressing the Golden Buzzer, Howie said, “I can’t sign you to a record deal. The only thing I can do for you young lady is give you…”
Getting a Golden Buzzer during auditions is a big compliment. So, it’s not surprising that Courtney returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where the best contestants from all Got Talent series compete. Susan Boyle got the first Golden Buzzer of the season.
For her comeback, Courtney sang her first original song, “Pretty Little Thing,” which was impressive.
I’ve been supporting Courtney since the beginning, and though she didn’t win, it’s amazing to see her perform her own song on stage. She’s really talented. Keep singing, Courtney, you did a great job!
