I belive that every story should have a happy ending.
Do you know who they are? Lara the pig and Maria the cat may be seen here. They were both saved by animal rights activists and taken to the Interspecies Equality Sanctuary in Chile.
A kind stranger took up Maria as a street child when she was a newborn. She was just a few days old at the time, and it was obvious that she would sleep till sunrise.
Lara, however, experienced the same outcome. She was born in an undesirable place, but she was saved and given sanctuary.
When they first met in the haven, they gave each other an embrace. In the hopes that their actions may serve as an example for others, we will also thank those who helped preserve our canine friends.
