Twin pandas saw humans for the first time

For the first time, visitors to Ueno in Tokyo were introduced to twin pandas. The zoo will accept 1,000 visitors each day for three days. And we can look at them now without having to wait in line.

The twin pandas were born on June 23rd. The siblings were the first panda babies born to the same mother on the same day at the zoo in its 140-year existence.

The 8-month-old pandas are currently living with their mother. The names of the twins were picked by popular vote: Xiaoxiao (“Pre-Dawn Ray”) for a boy and Leilei (“Beautiful Flower Opening from a Bud”) for a girl.

The twins are now 14 kilos, yet they were born 8 months ago weighing 124 and 146 grams. The newborns resembled mice more than bamboo bears.

Only those who won the lottery were permitted to enter the zoo. Thousands of individuals were let into the territory every day. The event will continue three days. The babies will then be able to live quietly with their mother, Xingsin.

During these three days, there is a long line at the zoo’s entrance. However, we may have a look at the babies right now.
