“Very kind and sweet!” Brad Pitt let a 105-year-old neighbor live in his house for free

Pitt had bought the house from a 90-year-old man and he invited the man to live there rent-free until his death.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt bought a house in Los Feliz, California, in 1994, and he later intended to extend his estate by purchasing several more sites nearby. He ultimately sold his Hollywood Hills residence to Cassandra Peterson, a well-known actress best known for playing Elvira in various movies and television programs.

However, it turned out that Pitt had purchased the home from a 90-year-old man who had recently lost his wife and had extended an invitation for him to live there without paying rent till he passed away.
Pitt’s neighbor for many years, Peterson, complimented his kindness to the elderly guy and to her. She acknowledged that the actor was always polite and courteous to her and that he even made her happy as he worked on the estate’s “Fight Club” movie while practicing with a punching bag in his yard. Until their 2016 divorce, Pitt shared the home with his then-wife Angelina Jolie and their six children. Before selling it in March 2021 for $39 million, he lived alone in the mansion for a number of years.

According to Pitt’s acquaintances, he sold the mansion to relocate to the quaint coastal community of Carmel in Northern California, where he has already paid $40 million for a new residence.
