What is the daily routine of Queen Elizabeth II?

The Queen wakes up at 7:30 and, immediately turning on the radio, goes to the shower, and then dresses. Every morning, for 15 minutes, under the windows of Elizabeth II, musicians perform her favorite works.

After breakfast, Her Majesty is engaged in viewing the latest press. Before that, the queen’s secretary looks through the press and emphasizes all the most important things that may interest her.

At 9:00, the secretary brings Elizabeth II a red suitcase with documents prepared by the special services.

Throughout the day, the Queen receives approximately 300 letters from ordinary citizens and organizations. She reads all of them and writes answers to some of them. Some letters are answered by a court lady, who receives appropriate instructions for this.

If Her Majesty’s day is not too busy, she walks with her beloved corgis. And her favorite hobby is horse riding. Although Elizabeth II already has a very respectable age, she remains an excellent rider.

From 11:00 the queen holds official meetings. She meets with each person for no more than 20 minutes and only in private.

At 13:00, dinner begins at Elizabeth II. Then comes the time for the award ceremonies, at which the queen is always present. To be able to attend the ceremony anywhere in the UK, Her Majesty uses a helicopter or train.

16:00 – the start time of the tea ceremony, which gathers the whole family of monarchs.

At 18:00, workers prepare a warm bath for the queen.

At 19:30, official receptions begin, often lasting until midnight. If the event is not held for some reason, Elizabeth II spends the evening watching TV. Save Her Majesty leaves closer to midnight.
