Why renowned director Ron Howard rarely revisits his own films, including the beloved classic “Splash”! 🎥 Find out more in this exclusive interview

Ron Howard doesn’t often look back at his own work, and it’s been a while since he watched one of his most loved films, Splash.

When talking about Splash, Ron Howard, who is 70 years old, said he doesn’t usually watch his own movies, so it’s been a long time since he saw Splash.

He remembered the fun times making the movie, which starred Daryl Hannah, Tom Hanks, and John Candy. Howard said they laughed a lot every day while working on it. He described the movie as a mix of romance and humor.

Ron Howard started his career as an actor, appearing in shows like The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days in the ’70s.

After Splash, his second movie as a director, Howard focused more on directing. He made successful films like A Beautiful Mind and Apollo 13.

Howard hasn’t acted in a while, except for being the narrator in Arrested Development. But he might consider acting again if his daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, asked him to. He said he would probably agree if Bryce directed something and insisted he be in it.
