Stefanie Powers had a big break when she got the role of Jennifer Hart in the TV show Hart to Hart from 1979 to 1984. Even at 80 years old, she still looks great.
Stefanie was born in Los Angeles, California on November 2, 1942, to Polish parents who split up when she was young.

She loved horses since her stepfather raised them, and this led her to be interested in polo and make friends with Prince Charles.
Growing up, she was surrounded by people in the movie business because of her mom’s connections. She started dancing ballet but switched to acting because she grew too tall for ballet.
At 15, she tried out for West Side Story but couldn’t get the part because of her age. Instead, she got into movies with Columbia Pictures.
She starred in a few films and then moved to TV, where she had roles in shows like The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.

Her biggest TV success came with Hart to Hart, where she played Jennifer Hart alongside Robert Wagner. The show was a hit, and Stefanie and Robert became close friends.
Stefanie’s personal life had its ups and downs. She was married a few times and had relationships with actors like William Holden. She didn’t have children because of some health issues.
In 2008, she battled lung cancer due to smoking but recovered well.

Stefanie has always been passionate about animals and conservation. She founded the William Holden Wildlife Foundation and has lots of pets herself.

Apart from acting, she’s also done theater and even released an album in 2003. She’s multilingual and loves to travel, not having a permanent home.
