Kyle Richards is talking openly about how she’s been dealing with her public separation from Mauricio Umansky.
During a chat with her fans on Amazon Live, the star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” admitted that managing her relationship with her estranged husband has been difficult for a few reasons.
When a fan asked how they were doing, the 54-year-old said, “That’s a very tricky question.” She explained that it’s hard because so many people are watching, and they are in the public eye.
She added, “We obviously care about each other a lot,” and mentioned that they recently came back from a family vacation in Italy.
While she hinted that she and Umansky, 53, were on good terms, she didn’t share more details and said it’s “just too much to deal with right now.”
On July 3, it was confirmed that the couple decided to separate after being married for 27 years.
A source close to them shared, “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living in the same house. They remain friendly as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
Richards first met Umansky in 1994, and they got married in 1996. They have three daughters together. Recently, Umansky posted a family photo from their Italy trip on Instagram, including his estranged wife.
The family explored various places in Italy, and Richards shared some scenic views on her Instagram.
Shortly after their separation was announced, Richards talked about how her daughters are handling things in a July Amazon Live session. She said they are strong and know that they are loved, even when things aren’t perfect.
