Meet Jyoti, the smallest woman in India. She’s only 62 cm tall, similar in size to a three-month-old baby. Jyoti has achondroplasia, a condition affecting her bones, and she stopped growing after three years.
When Jyoti’s mom was pregnant, doctors thought the baby didn’t survive in the womb, but she was born healthy via a cesarean section in the tenth month.
Although she faced challenges with fragile bones and fractures due to severe calcium issues, Jyoti attended school with a specially designed desk for her.
Unfortunately, achondroplasia is incurable, and surgeries were not an option for Jyoti. Despite her unique body and health challenges, she remains optimistic and continues to face life with a positive attitude.
