The Astrakhan man did just a heroic deed – he, without hesitation, rushed to save a dog that was in distress. The incident had witnessed the man’s child and his friends, with whom they were on a walk at that moment.
Everything was filmed by the camera phone of one of the bystanders. The father accompanied his daughter on the street with several of her classmates, as right in front of their eyes the poor animal fell into a terrible trap, ending up in icy water.
Many in the area were familiar with the dog, gave her food and treats, took care of her as much as possible. Seeing that the animal was in trouble, trying to escape, but could not, the man rushed to the rescue.
He cleared the ice obstacle and pulled the dog out onto dry land, where it was immediately warmed up and fed.
