In this ball of dirty wool, it is difficult to recognize a cat named Valentino. He ended up in a Los Angeles shelter with numerous ulcers, and because of blood clots, he was generally blind.
All employees were afraid to even approach the poor fellow because Valentino could be contagious. There were no doctors in the shelter to examine the cat, as he was brought on the weekend. So he had to wait all day.
But it was on that day that volunteer Elaine Seamans came. When she walked past the cage with the pet, he plaintively began to meow and stretch out his paws to her.
The girl was not afraid of the cat’s illness and took him in her arms even without gloves! And Valentino answered her with tenderness and affection!
