Nobody paid any attention to the box next to the road. All passers-by did not believe that she could be worthy of their attention. However, not everyone thought so, and there were people who nevertheless looked inside. As it turned out, the box was not with things and not even empty. In it, curled up in a ball of fear, sat a dog, and with it several charming puppies.
The dog was named Sandy. She had obvious health problems, she looked unimportant: emaciated and scared. Probably Sandy hasn’t eaten in days. The puppies already had fleas and the little ones itched all the time.
People took them out of the box and out of the box and took them to an organization that helps homeless animals to take care of the dogs. Unfortunately, one puppy could not stand the trip and died. The rest, along with their mother, were handed over to the veterinarian for further examination.
At first, Sandy was suspicious of those who wanted to help her. She even trembled and tried to stay away. But after a few days, she realized that there was nothing to be afraid of and allowed herself to be touched. Gradually, the fear subsided, and she stopped running away. Veterinarians prescribed a lot of medicines and various procedures for all the puppies and their mother, which would improve their health. In addition to exhaustion, the puppies also showed skin problems.
A few days later, one of the volunteers noticed that Sandy began to wag her tail. Now she rejoiced at the appearance of people, which means she began to trust them.
The puppies quickly recovered, they had an appetite and increased weight. Their fur has grown and become smooth and shiny. Now they look much healthier. The kids have become more active and are already happy to play with each other and the workers.
Now Sandy, along with the puppies, is waiting for loving owners to appear in their lives, who will take them to themselves and become a real family with them.
