Recently, she got a warm welcome at a 90210 panel with her former cast members, and it brought her to tears. Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, went into remission two years later, but sadly, it returned in 2020 at stage four.
In 2020, she went on Good Morning America to reveal the news, mentioning she had kept it private for a year. She said, “It’s a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways.”
During a panel discussing BH90210, where she appeared with co-stars like Tori Spelling and Jason Priestley, Doherty received a standing ovation from the audience, and it moved her to tears. She expressed her gratitude and mentioned how much she loves crying.
