Kufiya, or spear-headed snakes, is a genus of poisonous snakes in the pit-headed snake subfamily of the viper family.
The blue Komodo keffiyeh (Trimeresurus (Cryptelytrops) insularis) is a beautiful blue snake that is unique to Indonesia’s Lesser Sunda Islands.
Individuals of green, yellow, and orange hues have been observed on numerous islands, while the rarest kufiya – sea-green snakes – may be found on Komodo Island.
