When this defenseless cat was found on the street, she was very emaciated. After a physical examination, it became clear that the poor fellow had a congenital cleft palate, also suffered from many fleas, and she also staggered with difficulty.
This story happened in a small town near Oregon. The little foundling was immediately transferred to the local animal rescue center because she needed urgent medical attention.
After she was thoroughly washed and rid of fleas, the baby immediately became more sociable and active. The baby also suffered from partial blindness and was also diagnosed with hydrocephalus (fluid accumulation in the brain). It became clear that the poor thing needed special care and a caring owner.
And such an owner was found. One of the shelter workers fell in love with the baby and decided with her boyfriend to shelter the poor thing.
Now her name is Penelope. She quickly adapted to her new place of residence and became a very active and playful cat. Her features did not make her less active and beautiful.
Penelope partially sees and therefore she easily became friends with other four-legged inhabitants of the house. Most of all she likes to lie in the arms of her owner Denny.
She always wants to be near him, they have a special bond.
