The exhausted horse lay without strength but was barely breathing. “We decided to give her a chance, even though she was in a terrible state,” employees say. Further, the count went on for minutes, because the life of the horse had to be saved urgently. The poor man, barely alive, was raised by a team of five people.
The employees were sure that the irresponsible owner, who did not know the rules for caring for horses, left the sick animal to die. The horse, named Heidi, was taken to a rescue center where it was actively treated.
Blood transfusions, treatment for parasites, bandaging of terrible wounds, and bedsores on the skin – Heidi had to go through many tests. She was able to stand on her feet only after five weeks of treatment.
The daily care of the employees and the love that Heidi was surrounded by have borne fruit. Slowly but surely, she began to recover. Her wounds began to heal, her eyes shone, and new fur shone on her body.
Heidi had to go through many trials, but today he enjoys life. She has turned into a beautiful horse, lives in a spacious outdoor enclosure, participates in various activities, and enchants everyone around.
