They saved him from a miserable end! The guys ran for 3 hours after a thin Indian wolf with a balloon on his head …

We should never forget what kind of world we will give to our future generations …

A group of young photographers went to the forest near the lake in Nagpur (central India) to capture the beauty of nature. The guys took pictures of birds and really hoped to spy on the life of wild wolves at least from afar.

Turning onto one of the paths, Tanai Panpaliya and his friends stopped. They saw a wolf – but not at all in the form they expected! This poor animal was thin as a chip, and a 5-liter balloon crowned its head! It became clear that because of his misfortune, the wolf could not eat normally for many days …

Indian (Asian) wolves are known to be endangered today. And some of them die precisely through the fault of people! So this poor fellow, in search of food, stuck his head into a container thrown by someone, but he could no longer stick it out …

He wandered through the forest, unable to hunt or watch for danger around him. I must say that all this time other wolves from his pack were watching their brother from afar, but no one came close to him.

The young people realized that they had no right to leave the beast in such a state. After taking a few confirming photos, the guys called the forest department and asked for help. And while the volunteers were gathering and getting to their destination, Tanay and his friends ran after the wolf so as not to lose sight of it! So, following the animal on the heels, people spent more than two hours.

“We were a little afraid because there were only three of us, and there were about ten wolves in total, ” says a 26-year-old photographer (and part-time accountant) Tanay. “ However, we didn’t stop running after them!”

A little later, rescuers pulled up and organized a trap. Having tied the paws of the wolf, the animal rights activists freed his head from the plastic jar and then began to pour water on his body to lower the temperature (it was hot). Fortunately, the victim did not have any injuries, so he was immediately released. The beast stood for a while and ran to his flock…

“He was lucky that there were holes in that container that gave the wolf the opportunity to breathe and drink water. And, most likely, it helped him to survive,” the volunteers say.

In total, the entire rescue operation took about three hours.

“I would like to draw people’s attention to the fact that plastic waste, like no other, harms the environment,  ” Tanay sums up. – If Indian villages didn’t throw plastic cans and bags anywhere, the animals would not fall into traps. Let these photos be seen by as many people around the world as possible because this problem exists in many countries!”

We join these words. We should never forget what kind of world we will give to our future generations …
