It’s clear that Brody loves to sleep!
Following the discovery of this police comfort dog napping on a desk during the swearing-in ceremony, a video from the Bristol Police Department rapidly went viral. Brody, a lovely chocolate Labrador puppy, has recently become the Bristol, Rhode Island, police department’s newest K-9 comfort dog.
He will visit schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and other locations in the neighborhood to make people’s days better. He will also assist crime victims in dealing with worry, stress, and PTSD. To make things official, the department recently performed a swearing-in ceremony for Brody, which was streamed live on their Facebook page. After Brody was photographed dozing off while two cops carried on with the ceremony, the image soon went viral.
Brody is the first comfort and therapy dog ever provided to the Bristol Police Department by Boonefield Labradors. He has already been working hard and getting about the city. Brody has continued to find ways to make people happy despite the covid-19 epidemic.
Recently, he paid a visit to the local nursing home, Saint Elizabeth Manor, where the patients got to view him through their windows. He can be spotted taking a nap in the workplace after a hard day of improving people’s lives.
It’s obvious that Brody enjoys napping. Now that he has an Instagram, everyone can follow him as he goes to therapy and takes naps! To follow him and access his Facebook, click here.
