He assured fans that the pacemaker, which helps regulate his irregular heartbeat, won’t cause any issues for the next season of Netflix’s “FUBAR.”

“A lot of people asked if my pacemaker will affect FUBAR Season 2. No way,” he said. “I’ll be ready to film in April, and you’ll only notice it if you’re really looking for it.”

Schwarzenegger revealed recently that he had surgery to get the pacemaker. He said it followed three other heart surgeries.

“I want you to know I’m doing great,” he said on his podcast. “I had my surgery on Monday, and by Friday, I was already at a big event with Jane Fonda.”

He thanked his medical team at the Cleveland Clinic for taking great care of him.

Schwarzenegger’s first heart surgery was in 1997. He had to get his valves replaced again in 2018 and 2020. He said scar tissue from the last surgery caused his irregular heartbeat.

He said his mother’s death in 1998 pushed him to stay on top of his health. She died because she didn’t get the surgery she needed.

“I stayed in touch with my doctors and got check-ups every year,” he said. “That’s life with a genetic heart problem. But you won’t hear me complaining.”
